HARD CHROME PLATING

The arrangement of the line enables both mass and job production. In chrome-plating basins, hard and abrasion-resistant coats of chromium are precipitated, with thickness ranging from several µm up to several hundred µm.

Based on particular demands, coating with hard chromium is done according to precise dimensions (without any subsequent grinding).
Modern, so-called third generation chrome plating baths are used on the chrome plating line. These baths increase the quality of the final chrome-plated layer (less increase of chromium on edges, better anti-corrosion parameters with respect to microstructure and porosity, higher coating hardness (up to 1,200 HV)).
