ENGINEERING PREPARATIONS

Engineering preparations for production entail the drawing up of detailed technological procedures for the manufacturing process.  Programmers develop programs for CNC machines, perform time standardisations for the respective operations, rationalise processes and optimise the service life of cutting tools. In addition, control plans are created and process stability is monitored. The Department draws up price offers and reviews the implementation of new projects. Designing jigs, i.e. producing technical documentation for special clamping devices, tools and gauges, is another part of the engineering preparations.
